Top 5 Ink Products

September 09, 2011

Have you ever wondered which of International Coatings’ ink products are the most popular with printers? We often get asked that question, so here are our top 5 ink products:   1)                  900 Series Nylon Printing Inks – For decades, International Coatings’ 900 Series inks for nylon substrates have been an industry favorite.  The 900 Series is versatile and can also be printed on cotton and poly/cotton blends.  Add the 900 Catalyst for nylon printing or add the 3804 Low-Cure Additive to print on those popular polypropylene bags. (For more info on how to print polypropylene bags, see our previous blog:  Printing on Non-Woven Poly Bags).   2)                  7600 Series Standard Direct Print Inks – Another favorite with printers, these high-performance inks are very well suited for high-definition and high-resolution printing.  The inks are ready to use, creamy and short-bodied, a favorite for automatic printers.   3)                  711 Low-Bleed White – One of our single most popular inks, our 711 Lo-Bleed White is iconic and a go-to product for many printers.  Many use it as an everyday ink, especially when printing on poly/cotton blends or 100% polyester fabrics.  The 711 is fast-flashing, low-fusing, and is easy to print with.  Here’s another factoid:  The 711 has been Non-Phthalate since we first formulated it over 20 years ago!   4)                  700 Series Standard Direct Print Inks – The 700 Series includes a selection of high pigment (HP) inks which have been popular with printers for printing on dark fabrics.  The 700 Series is great for manual printing.   5)                  Sentri Series of Soft-Hand Enhancers – The 3816 Sentri Clear, 3817 Sentri Black and 3818 Sentri Curable Reducer makes up our Sentri Series of soft-hand enhancers.  These products are literally flying off the shelves, and are super popular with printers who use the Sentri Clear and Sentri Reducer to extend their inks and to obtain a soft feel.  The versatile Sentri Clear also works great to reduce fibrillation when used as a top clear coat, or as a base for color concentrates.
