October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

A new study by the American Cancer Society reports that the survival rate of women diagnosed with breast cancer has increased steadily over the past 25 years. To raise awareness, October is the designated month to remind us of the value of screening and early detection for breast and other forms of cancer. The American Cancer Society even has a Cancer Screening Guidelines page organized by age.
