New How-To Video: Creating A Suede Leather Patch Look
September 08, 2018
Ever wonder how to create a realistic-looking suede leather patch using screen printing inks and techniques? International Coatings carries two Suede/Dulling additives, one in our regular Centris plastisol product line, and one in our AXEON Non-PVC line. Both products work the same way with great results!
Watch our how-to video of how we printed patch using our AXEON™ Non-PVC Suede/Dulling Additive 1622. Both, the Centris™ Suede/Dulling Additive 222 as well as the AXEON™ Suede/Dulling Additive 1622 are versatile in that they can create a matte look (dulling) or a suede texture simply by varying the amount added to an ink.
To create a matte finish, add 2% of the 222/1622 additive to ink by weight. To create a suede look, add 10% to 15% of additive to the ink by weight. That's it.
Use these multi-tasking additives to create texture and interest in your prints!
