Ensuring sustainable practices throughout the entire supply chain is near impossible to do. The best way to proceed is to first start implementing sustainable practices in your own business. This is the environment that you can control.
First manage your materials, energy, and workflow in an energy-efficient and sustainable manner. Then focus on partnering with suppliers who practice their businesses in the same manner.
