Heat Transfers With Bleed Blockers?

March 22, 2020

Transfers without (left) and with (right) Guardian Gray™ bleed blocker

Todays' athletic and performance fabrics often contain Polyester. Darker Polyester fabrics are prone to dye migration when exposed to heat during ink curing or when heat pressed with a transfer. Our Guardian Gray™ 7043 bleed blocker combats dye migration - just print it on your transfer as the last layer before the adhesive.

For durable transfers, use All-Pro™ 900 Series inks. All-Pro 900™ has long been the industry standard for transfer printing, especially when adhesion and durability are critical. All-Pro™ 900 Series and Guardian Gray™ are part of International Coatings' FlexCure™ line of inks. FlexCure™ ink products offer a flexible curing range, from a low 275°F (135°C) to a standard 325°F (163°C)
