Family Matters

Everyone at International Coatings is thrilled about the recent nuptials between Insta Graphic’s Jennifer Simonds and IC’s own Scott Johnson. Their history goes way back:  Scott’s grandfather, Daniel Johnson, actually was International Coatings’ very first employee.  That’s right!  IC’s original founder, Mr. Herb Wells and Daniel Johnson started up the company over 56 years ago, mixing compounds and delivering the products themselves. Scott’s father, Larry Johnson, worked for Insta Graphic - our sister company - for over 42 years and retired only a couple of years back.  Jennifer’s father, Paul Simonds, used to work for Insta in the 1970’s so Scott and Jennifer actually first met when they were kids. Now years later, they rekindled their friendship when Jennifer joined Insta as a Corporate Sales manager and Scott joined IC's team as Warehouse manager. We wish them all the best.  May the years ahead be filled with lasting joy.  Congratulations to a lovely couple!
