Congratulations Eagle Rock High School!

PrintMagicSplitA Special Congratulations to Glenn Laird and Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles California for placing FIRST in the PIASC Raise Foundation Competition for T-Shirt Design & Production! The theme was "Print is Magic" highlighting the role that printed products hold in the market place. With the help of Kieth Stevens of International Coatings, and special color changing inks that react to UV light, the design by Glenn and his team was an "Old School" concept harkening to the era of Houdini and the aspect of Illusion. The base color was a simple IC basic black plastisol. Then the students added three of the UV inks for accent to show up when exposed to the sun. On a separate print sample which was not submitted to PIASC, the students also added more flare to the design by highlighting the design with rhinestones. Job Well Done and Congratulations again to Glenn and the students of Eagle Rock High School! Kieth Stevens is the Western regional sales manager for International Coatings.
